La news qui tue : Nouvel album de Bryan Ferry AVEC membre de Roxy Music dont Brian Eno !
Bryan Ferry Recruits Brian Eno, Jonny Greenwood for New Album Olympia
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Features reunited Roxy Music
Last year, we reported that Roxy Music leader Bryan Ferry was working on an album with an interesting lineup of contributors that included Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist (and sometime Thom Yorke sideman) Flea, and legendary disco mastermind and Chic frontman Nile Rodgers. But that's only part of the story. Ferry's new album Olympia hits October 25 via Virgin, and a whole more people will help out.
In addition to Greenwood, Flea, and Rodgers, the roster of contributors also includes the Scissor Sisters, Pink Floyd's David Gilmour, and Primal Scream's Mani. Also, Ferry teams up with old Roxy Music bandmates Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay, and (yup) Brian Eno for the first time on an album since For Your Pleasure in 1973.
"Shameless", the newish Groove Armada track that features Ferry, is also on there. There's also two covers: Ferry's versions of Tim Buckley's "Song to the Siren" and Traffic's "No Face, No Name, No Number". "You Can Dance", the album's first single, drops August 9. Tracklist below.
Olympia:
01 You Can Dance
02 Alphaville
03 Heartache by Numbers
04 Me Oh My
05 Shameless
06 Song to the Siren
07 No Face, No Name, No Number
08 BF Bass (Ode to Olympia)
09 Reason or Rhyme
10 Tender Is the Night

J'ai changé le titre du Topic vu que c'est un album de Bryan Ferry et non Roxy Music
